    Dear Rank Math Support Team,

I am writing to seek assistance with some issues I am encountering with the sitemap on my website since I started using your SEO plugin, Rank Math. Despite following your guide carefully and submitting the sitemap to Google Search Console, I continue to face significant issues.

Specifically, I have noticed that Google Search Console is not detecting the correct number of articles from my site. More concerning is that, in some cases, Search Console reports that it is unable to read the sitemap at all.

These issues are severely impacting the visibility and SEO performance of my site. While I wish to continue using Rank Math for its features and user-friendly interface, these technical difficulties are leading me to consider alternatives.

I am reaching out to request your support in resolving these issues. Could you please assist me in understanding the cause of these malfunctions and guide me through the necessary steps to rectify them? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, as I would ideally like to continue using Rank Math for my site’s SEO management.

Thank you in advance for your time and support. I look forward to resolving these issues as soon as possible.

    Best regards

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issues you are facing with the sitemap on your website after implementing the Rank Math SEO plugin. We understand the importance of a properly functioning sitemap for your site’s visibility and SEO performance.

The issues you’ve described, such as Google Search Console not detecting the correct number of articles and reporting that it is unable to read the sitemap, can be quite frustrating. We appreciate you reaching out to us for assistance in resolving these issues.

To address the problems you’re encountering, we recommend checking for potential plugin conflicts using the Health Check plugin. This will help identify any conflicts that might be affecting the sitemap functionality. Additionally, if you are using W3 Total Cache along with Rank Math, creating another user agent group and adding the ‘_googlebot’ user agent to it might help resolve the issue.

If these solutions do not resolve the issue, you can include a specific filter in your theme’s functions.php or rank-math.php file to disable sitemap caching.

We hope these steps help resolve the issues you are facing with the sitemap on your website. If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please feel free to reply to this ticket, and a human agent from our support team will be happy to assist you further.

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention, and we look forward to helping you resolve these issues promptly.

    Best regards
