Hello,
We apologize for the inconvenience you’re experiencing. It’s great that you’ve already checked the Google cache and confirmed that the updated version is live. Sometimes, even after updating the meta data, Google may take some time to reflect these changes in the search results.
If the cache date is from after adding the new meta description, then you just have to wait for Google to re-crawl and re-index the page with your new updated meta title and description. This process can take some time, so we recommend being patient and monitoring the search results over the next few days.
If you have carried out all the necessary checks and confirmed that everything is fine, but Google still chooses to show a different meta title/description for your search keyword, there is little that can be done as Google sometimes ignores the custom meta information altogether and shows something from the page’s content that matches the search intent better.
In case you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to our dedicated support team here. We are available 24/7, 365 days a year and we’re always here to help.
Best regards.

General Tab in Meta Box of Rank Math SEO PluginHi,
Ok lets be patient, thanks.Hello,
Thank you for your query, and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.
It is a pretty common thing with Google these days. It happens with 70% of the results and we even have a KB dedicated to this problem and a few solutions we recommend:
https://rankmath.com/kb/different-meta-title-and-description/
Please check the KB and you will understand the reasons Google does this.
Google has made some changes to their algorithm which automatically changes the titles, discarding the one you have set in your SEO title meta tag. This happens regardless of the SEO plugin you are using. We have covered this Google update here:

Can you please share the affected URLs with us? So that we can investigate the issue further for you.
We really look forward to helping you.
Thank you.

Hello,
You can check if you are still viewing a cached version of your site on the search results pages.
Here’s a link for more information:

Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you all ;)!
