Hello,
I’m sorry to hear that you’re experiencing issues connecting Google Search Console to Rank Math. To troubleshoot this, you can test the connection between Rank Math and your Google account by following these steps:
- Go to Rank Math SEO → General Settings → Analytics.
- Click the Test Connections option at the top right of the Analytics settings.
If you see a red signal after testing the connection, it indicates a glitch in the corresponding connection. You can try reconnecting with your Google account by clicking the Reconnect option located at the top right of the Analytics settings.
If the issue persists even after reconnecting your Google account, or if you see a red signal again when you validate your connection, please share the error log with us by opening a support ticket here.
I hope this helps! If you have any further questions or need assistance, feel free to let us know.

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
Please make sure that you’ve connected the correct Google account and not connecting to Google Search Console via a domain property but rather a URL prefix and that you have verified the correct version of your website on the Google Search Console (HTTP or HTTPS, www or non-www).
After that, please follow this guide to remove Rank Math App from your Google account and reconnect it with all the required permissions, and see if that resolves the issue: https://rankmath.com/kb/analytics-issues/#expired-google-oauth-token
Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
Hello , thank you for trying to help. I still have the same problem thought. I am also a little confused. Under “Analytics ” session I see the analytics , but in the “analytics” page under “general settings” it still not connected.
It can be possible that it doesn’t connect beacause is the free version?
Hello,
Thank you for your patience.
You can still connect your Google Analytics account in the free version.
This can happen if you haven’t created a property for your website. Could you please confirm if you have already created a GA4 property for your website?
If not yet, please visit this page (https://analytics.google.com/analytics/web/) and sign up for a Google Analytics account and property, then reconnect your Google Account so the new Analytics account will reflect.
If you have already created a property, please share a screenshot of your Google Analytics section. You can upload screenshots using this tool and add the link here.
Looking forward to helping you.
Yes I did that but console and analytics still red 🙁
Hello,
Thank you for your patience.
In this case, please follow the steps below to create a troubleshooting log so that we can check the issue further:
Step #1.
First, add the following filter to your website:add_filter( 'rank_math/analytics/log_response', '__return_true' );
Here is a guide you can follow to add the filter:
https://rankmath.com/kb/wordpress-hooks-actions-filters/Step #2.
After adding the filter, please run the pending Scheduled Action from your WordPress Dashboard > Tools > Scheduled Actions > Pending:If in your case, you do not see the Scheduled Actions menu, then you can try visiting the following URL:
https://yourdomain.com/wp-admin/tools.php?page=action-scheduler&status=pending
Ensure that you replace
yourdomain.com
with your own domain in the above link.Step #3.
When some actions have completed running, please check the Analytics log under /wp-content/uploads/rank-math and share that with us.You can use a tool like Dropbox/Pastebin for debug log files and share the generated links here.
