    Hi there,

    I use semplice theme for my website and I recently published my site. http://www.papalinastudios.com

    Because I use a theme content doesnt show on the WP page editor and I get this message from semplice:

    “If activated the content from our editor will get displayed in the frontend instead of the content from the default WordPress editor.”

    Will rank math still work for my site? adding keyphrases and such?

You can still add keyphrases and optimize your content using Rank Math’s meta box, which should be accessible from the post-editing screen.

    To get started, you can locate Rank Math’s meta box by following these steps:

    1. If you’re using the block editor, click on the Rank Math SEO icon in the Gutenberg sidebar or click the three vertical dots in the top right-hand corner of the edit page and select Rank Math in the Plugins section.
    2. If you’re using Elementor, navigate to the SEO Tab and you’ll find the Meta Box of Rank Math.

    I am not using elemantor. When i type keyphrases i get red check marks indicates keyphrases are not in the content section

    Hello,

    For Rank Math to read the content and pass the tests in the Content Analysis, the content should be stored in the post’s the_content meta which is WP standard.

    It appears that your theme is not using that method so it is expected for Rank Math to fail.

    Please note that these tests and SEO scoring are just guidelines and one does not need to follow them religiously.

    Thanks, Jeremy,

    I am quite new to the SEO world. Does that mean I can still add keyphrases and meta data to my site, and Rath MAth can still help me with SEO? The only thing I cannot benefit from or get a correct analysis is the test score and suggestion, but everything else should be fine?

    Hello,

    That might be the part where Rank Math fails to help you with that because of the issue I mentioned earlier. If you wish to make it work, your theme must apply our Content Analysis API: https://rankmath.com/kb/content-analysis-api/

    The rest of the features like the generation of meta, sitemap, etc should still work.
