To ensure that the latest version of your page has been indexed by Google, you can check when Google’s cache was last updated for the page. Here’s how you can do that:
- Go to Google and search for your website.

If the cache date is from before adding the new meta description, then you just have to wait for Google to re-crawl and re-index the page with your new updated meta title and description.
If the cache date is recent and you’ve carried out all the checks, it’s possible that Google might choose to show a different meta title/description for your search keyword. This can happen when Google ignores the custom meta information altogether and shows something from the page’s content that matches the search intent better.
At times, Google might believe that alternative text provided on your page might be more relevant & useful, and they might prefer to use it instead of the provided title. If you feel the alternative title provided isn’t a better fit over your title, you can always let Google know through their Search Help Community.

Please note that Google sometimes ignores the custom meta info altogether and shows something from the page’s content that matches the search intent better.
In this case, the best you can do is optimize your meta title and description to try and match the intent of the search/keyword.

Upon checking your site using Health Check Plugin, the BoldGrid Easy SEO is generating duplicate meta tags that’s why Rank Math is unable to show the correct title and meta description.
This is a clear conflict since we don’t recommend using another SEO plugin to avoid such issues:
