I have tried to insert html code in webmaster tools. Google search say: wrong meta tag. This mega tag is registered: KQEKkiJZdoMPbkQA9NGlyYa-oz7hrHkduNNEmM7LOHE.
I have tried general settings – analytics: Website rankmath.com is chosen, but account is empty.
I have tried to delete the database and to update data manuel – but after 30 minutes fetching is still in progress.

Hello,
I’m sorry to hear that you’re experiencing issues connecting to Google Analytics. It seems like you’ve tried several troubleshooting steps already, but the issue persists.
Based on the information you’ve provided, it looks like you’ve encountered some difficulties with the meta tag and fetching data manually. Since the manual update is taking longer than expected, I recommend checking the connection between Rank Math and your Google account.
To do this, please navigate to Rank Math SEO → General Settings → Analytics and click on the Test Connections option at the top right of the Analytics settings. This will allow you to validate the existing connections and ensure that everything is set up correctly.
If you encounter any issues during this process or if the problem persists, please try reconnecting your Google account by clicking on the Reconnect link in the Analytics settings.
If the issue still persists after reconnecting your Google account, please consider reaching out to our support team by opening a support ticket here and sharing the error log with us. Our team will be more than happy to assist you further.
I hope this helps!

Rank Math General SettingsHello,
Could you please confirm if you have already created a GA4 property for your website?
If not yet, please visit this page (https://analytics.google.com/analytics/web/) and sign up for a Google Analytics account and property, then reconnect your Google Account so the new Analytics account will reflect.
Also, please verify using the URL prefix and ensure that you have verified the correct version of your website on the Google Search Console (HTTP or HTTPS, www or non-www).
You can follow our guide here to create the URL Prefix property:
https://rankmath.com/kb/google-site-verification/#num-1-1-open-google-search-consoleThe URL-prefix property also helps keep your sitemap in sync with Google Search Console as we submit it automatically for you. In addition, the domain property won’t work correctly on some sections of the Analytics module such as the IndexStatus.
Let us know how this goes.
I have solved the google analytics part. Thanks.
About connecting to google search: I have followed the guide and get the error:

I have installed Health Check & Troubleshooting. and enabled troubleshooting mode for Rankmath. It did not help.
In the code view of the frontpage there is this line:

Thank you.
I still get the same error message in Google search when I verify after having inserted the copied html code in webmaster tools.
In the code view of the frontpage there is this still this line:
<meta name=”google-site-verification” content=”pZTPkhm_3gywpqO0DIAZ8rnbjIcS6RfO__Ta01HjyB8″ />
I is not my website. I am helping a friend. When I first installed Rankmath, I think I used my own mail address: f**********@g********. Later I connected with h********@h**********. Could this be the problem?
In my own rankmath account only my own website is registered (clearit.dk)I just discovered, that I had created transformlab.dk as a domaine property on my own google search account. I have now removed it. But I still get the same error when I veryfy.

Hello,
From the screenshot you’ve shared, it looks like you’re using the Rank Math website URL in Google Search Console. The screenshots shared on our guidelines are just for your example. You’ll have to use your own website’s URL instead of the Rank Math website URL.
However, please note that if your website is already verified in Google Search Console then you don’t need to verify it again by using the Webmaster tools.
Hope that helps and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.
Thank you.Thank you
