Jobposting schema data: leaving “jobLocation” empty gives error

    Hi RankMath support team,

Here: https://rankmath.com/kb/rich-snippets/, in the section about Job Postings, it is mentioned that the fields for Location can be left empty for remote job offers.
Whenever I leave it empty though, I consistently get an error from my schema data.
Could I be doing something wrong? Do I have an option to explicitly state it is a remote job (“jobLocationType”: “TELECOMMUTE” somewhere?
Or is this something you can fix from your end?

    Greetings!

    Anke

    Hi Uzair,

one of the pages affected is this one: https://www.lecturio.com/jobs/medical-content-curator/https://www.lecturio.com/jobs/medical-content-curator/

The jobLocation address is missing, while I would not expect to see that field at all in this case.

    Thanks for getting in touch!

    Hi Anke,

We just heard back from the dev. team.

We do not have the option to allow remote job postings. Google introduced that after COVID and we have not implemented that particular employment type into Rank Math.

    Perhaps in the future.

For now, you have to put in a location.

    Hello,
