  • Hello, we apologize for the inconvenience you’re experiencing with the missing alt attributes on your images. It’s important to ensure that all images have alt attributes for accessibility and SEO purposes.

After enabling the “Add missing ALT attributes” option in the Image SEO settings, it should automatically add alt attributes to images that don’t have them. However, if you’re still seeing images with no attributes, there might be a specific issue causing this.

To troubleshoot this further, we recommend checking the following:

    1. Ensure that the “Add missing ALT attributes” option is enabled in the Rank Math SEO settings.
    2. Verify that the alt attribute format is correctly set in the “Alt attribute format” field. You can refer to our guide on variables in SEO title and description for available variables.
    3. Check if the images in question are added within post or page content, as Rank Math adds missing ALT attributes only for images added in post or page content, not for images used in headers, sidebars, footers, etc.

If you’ve already checked these and are still facing issues, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from our support team will assist you further. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your patience.

In this case, you may need to add them manually to the images in your media gallery.

If those are still missing on the front end, we recommend getting in touch with your theme provider to add those tags.

    Looking forward to helping you.
