This is the URL: https://vhive.buzz/ I have created a new website and right now is showing the old sitemap I think. When I try to run the https://vhive.buzz/sitemap_index.xml on GSC sitemap it shows couldn’t fetch. How to fix?

  • Hello, we’re sorry to hear that you’re experiencing issues with your sitemap. We understand the frustration this can cause.

To address the “Couldn’t fetch” error in Google Search Console, we recommend following these steps:

    1. Rename the Sitemap File: Change the name of the sitemap file to https://yourdomain.com/?sitemap=1 and submit it in Google Search Console.

    2. Fix Sitemap Issues: Ensure that your sitemap is correctly configured, located in the root folder, and that your posts are set to index.

    3. Add the Correct Version of Your Sitemap to Google Search Console: Verify that you’ve added the correct URL variation to Google Search Console and ensure that your sitemap is accessible.

If you’ve already tried these steps, please let us know, and we’ll be happy to assist you further. If you have any other questions or need additional help, feel free to reach out to our support team directly from here. We’re here to help!

    Still the issue appears.

    Hello,

Could you please share the screenshot of your Google Search Console showing the verified property on your site? You can upload screenshots using this tool and add the link here.

We have asked since you must verify your site using the URL property:

Then, follow these steps to flush your sitemap cache:

    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/

Once done, remove all your submitted sitemaps and resubmit your main sitemap only.

Let us know how this goes.
