SEO Reports on pages/posts not accurate

    Rank Math free

Currently building out our site. On both our home page and our first post, the RankMath plugin sidebar gives warnings that aren’t accurate, for example it says the post needs to be more than 600 words when the post is over 700 words. It also does not recognize the keywords that are used in the post.

The SEO score that shows on the WP Dashboard where you select a page of post shows as higher, which makes me think this higher number is reflecting these things, but once I go to the actual page, the number drops and it gives inaccurate errors. I’ve tried all of the options in the Database Tools section in the RankMath plugin options but they do not fix the problem.

  • Hello,

We apologize for the inconvenience you’re experiencing with the SEO reports on your pages and posts. We understand that the warnings and errors provided by the Rank Math plugin are not accurately reflecting the content and keywords used in your posts.

It seems that you’ve already tried using the Database Tools section in the Rank Math plugin options to resolve the issue, but it hasn’t fixed the problem. We appreciate your efforts in trying to troubleshoot this.

Based on the information you’ve provided, it seems that there might be an issue with how the SEO scoring algorithm is evaluating your content. This could be due to various factors such as the focus keyword recognition and word count assessment.

To address this issue, we recommend using the “Recalculate Scores” option in the Database Tools section of Rank Math. This tool recalculates the SEO scores for your published posts where the focus keyword is set. Here’s how you can use it:

    1. Navigate to Rank Math > Status & Tools > Database Tools.
    2. Click on the Recalculate Scores option.
    3. A new popup will open, and Rank Math will start recalculating the SEO Scores for your published posts where the focus keyword is set.

    Recalculating SEO Scores

Please note that this process may take some time depending on the number of posts on your website. We kindly request you to keep the browser open until the process ends.

Once done, you should see a success message indicating that the recalculation of SEO scores is complete.

If after using this tool, you still encounter inaccuracies in the SEO reports, please feel free to reach out to our support team directly from here, and we’re always here to help.

We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work to resolve this issue for you.
