Uncertain About Rank Math’s Impact on Google Search Visibility for My Articles

    Rank Math free

When I finish writing a blog post and publish it, I receive the following message: “Rank Math has detected a new post type: e-landing-page. You may want to check the settings of the Titles & Meta page and the Sitemap.”

However, I am writing a regular article, not an e-landing-page.

I am concerned about this issue because I am unable to find my articles on Google search.

After completing an article, I submitted it to Google Search Console, and it was successfully indexed. However, when I search for keywords related to the article on Google, only my website’s homepage and categories appear, and the article is not showing. I’m not sure if there’s a misconfiguration somewhere. Thank you.

  • Hello,

We apologize for the inconvenience you are facing. It seems like there might be a misconfiguration in the Titles & Meta settings or the Sitemap. This could be causing your articles not to appear in Google search results as expected.

To address this issue, we recommend checking the Titles & Meta settings in Rank Math. You can do this by navigating to WordPress Dashboard → Rank Math SEO → Titles & Meta. Ensure that the settings are configured correctly for your articles and that the post type is set to “Article” instead of “e-landing-page.”

Additionally, you may want to verify that the Sitemap is correctly including your articles. You can check this by visiting your website’s sitemap URL (usually something like yourdomain.com/sitemap_index.xml) and confirming that your articles are listed there.

If everything appears to be configured correctly, it’s possible that there may be other factors affecting the visibility of your articles in Google search results. In such cases, we recommend reaching out to our dedicated support team for further assistance. You can contact them directly here.

We hope this helps resolve the issue, but if you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to let us know.
