We’re sorry to hear that you’re experiencing issues with Google not picking up your meta title and description. To check whether Google has picked up on the changes, you can follow these steps:
- Go to Google and search for your domain, kennzeichencenter.de.
- Click on the small, downwards-pointing arrow next to the domain.
- Then click on Cached to view the details of when Google’s cache was last updated for the page.
If the cache date is from before adding the new meta description, then you just have to wait for Google to re-crawl and re-index the page with your new updated meta title and description.
If you’ve already carried out these checks and everything seems fine, it’s still possible for Google to choose to show a different meta title/description for your search keyword. This can happen when Google ignores the custom meta information altogether and shows something from the page’s content that matches the search intent better.
At the end of the day, search engines choose what they display, and there is little that we (or you) can do to ensure that Google uses the meta description you’ve written.
