Hello. I installed the plugin and when I want to activate the module, I have an endless download. For example, I tried to disable the active module and I also have an infinite download hanging. What could be the problem?

Hello, we’re sorry to hear that you’re experiencing issues with activating or deactivating modules in the Rank Math plugin.
It’s possible that the issue could be related to the PHP upload limit on your server. This can sometimes cause problems when trying to install or activate plugins.
If you’re experiencing difficulties with the module activation process, it might be due to the PHP upload limit being configured to reject large uploads. This is a security feature designed to protect your server from malicious attacks.
To resolve this issue, you can try increasing the upload limit if your hosting company allows it. However, this is quite a technical approach for a relatively simple problem. Alternatively, you can transfer the plugin via FTP or use SSH to download the plugin directly to your server.
If you’re still facing issues after trying these steps, please feel free to reach out to our support team directly from here, and we’re always here to help.

Hello,
Please make sure you’re using the latest version of the Rank Math plugin on your website: https://rankmath.com/changelog/free/
Also, please check the PHP values of your site by heading over to your WordPress dashboard > Tools > Site Health > Info tab > Server. If they are set too low on your site, please ask your hosting provider to upgrade the values according to the following and see if that works for you:
PHP Memory Limit: 512M Max input time: 150 PHP time limit: 120 PHP max input variables: 1000
If the issue still persists, then we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Hello,
The issue is that the API route to save the module state (
/rankmath/v1/saveModule/
) is blocked or disabled by your server as you can see in the screenshot below:Please check with your hosting provider to ensure that our API routes are whitelisted: https://rankmath.com/kb/whitelist-rank-math-in-cloudflare/#rest-api
Let us know how that goes. Looking forward to helping you.
