Append Site Name to custom “%seo_title%” for All Posts

So, I have added custom title to each individual post. There I have not included the site name. The %seo_title% value comes in the front end like:
    ‘This is a post title’.

I want to append the sitename to this. I want the title to come like:
    ‘This is a post title – sitename.com’.

I have changed the ‘Headline’ value like this: “%seo_title% – sitename.com”. You can check the screenshot below.

But still, the “- sitename.com” part is not getting appended to the title. How can I do this? Please help.

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Please note that the Headline in Titles & Meta settings applies to the schema and the %seo_title% variable only works when you’re post or page has an SEO title.

However, if you want to change the title of your page or post, you’ll have to edit the Single Post Title/Page Title in Rank Math > Titles & Meta settings: https://rankmath.com/kb/titles-and-meta/#single-posts-title

In case, you’re trying to change the title of your schema, then please share an affected page URL with us so that we can check the issue further for you.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.
