Rank Math is crashing our site by causing the processor and ram to run at 100%

    When editing snipits from Rank Math or Creating redirects we have problems. After deactivating the problem has stopped.

    These are the errors and warnings we are seeing in bugsnag.

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

    From the errors you have shared, it seems like a permission issue on your site.

    For troubleshooting, please get in touch with your web host and ensure that the ModSecurity (ModSec) is disabled or they are not blocking any process of the plugin.

    You can also ask them to whitelist Rank Math’s routes for saving:

    /wp-json/rankmath/v1/updateMeta
/wp-json/rankmath/v1/saveModule

    If the issue still persists, please install the plugin Query Monitor to the affected website and look for slow queries related to Rank Math.

    Once done, take a screenshot of the query and share it with us so we can identify the cause of the slowdown. You can use this tool to upload the image and add the generated link here.
