    In that field, it is asking to verify the property (the website) where you want to use the API. You need to have your website added there before being able to add the service account.

    I didn’t find verified owner option in manage the property owner section. I found just add property option.

    Please note that the instructions are complete and the only instructions we have. It is a tried and tested method so you must follow each step carefully and religiously.

    For example in this screenshot, you are adding the service ID at a place where it is asking you to add a property like the URL of your website including http or https depending on what variation of your website you are using.
