Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.
Can you please confirm if you have other websites on the same server or are on shared hosting? If so, then there’s a possibility that other websites may be using up the quota.
Just to make sure this is not something with our plugin, please try using the plugin that Bing created for this purpose (https://wordpress.org/plugins/indexnow/) on the website, and if that is also failing, we can be sure it’s not only related to our plugin but with the submission on your website.
Also, please share the API key URL in the sensitive data section so we can check it further.
Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Hello,
Thank you for your patience.
We’ve checked the API key txt file, and it is only redirecting to your homepage.
In this case, please create the txt file manually in your website’s root directory. Please follow the steps in this link:
https://rankmath.com/kb/fix-403-forbidden-error-indexnow/#add-txt-file-manuallyOnce the txt file appears and shows the code inside, try submitting the URLs again.
Hope that helps.
Still Getting “Error undefined” too many requests 429
Hello,
In this case, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
<span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.</span>
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/
Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
WHAT IS FTP LOGIN? You can have my WordPress login you check what wrong? let me know i will add wp login in sensitive data
Hello,
We’ve checked your website with Microsoft Bing’s IndexNow plugin and we can see it is also unable to submit URLs in IndexNow API.
So, we can confirm the issue is not related to our plugin. In this case, can you please confirm if you have other websites on the same server or are on shared hosting? As my colleague already mentioned above that, in such cases the other websites may be using up the quota.
That’s why we recommend using dedicated IP hosting if you want to use IndexNow without any issues.
Please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.
Thank you.I have another website, I am using same hosting company, I don’t know weather it is share hosting or not
Hello,
Unfortunately, we are not able to answer that question. You need to get in touch with your hosting provider and ask them if they are under the same shared hosting, which could cause this issue.
From our side, it’s impossible to know whether or not the websites belong to the same cluster in the web hosting company.
Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
Hello,
Since we did not hear back from you for 15 days, we are assuming that you found the solution. We are closing this support ticket.
If you still need assistance or any other help, please feel free to open a new support ticket, and we will be more than happy to assist.
Thank you.
