Plugin issue after recent update

I recently updated the Rank Math plugin and now when I update old content it tells me that my keyword doesn’t appear at the beginning of my content or in the content and that my post is only 3 words long. These are all posts that were fine before and I’m not making changes to any of those things. I’d appreciate any insight, thanks!

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Can you please let us know if you are using the block from Kadence that is called “Buttons (Adv)”? We ask this because we noticed an issue with that block and our Content Analysis API, and our developers are currently investigating that.

We also suggest you to contact Kadence Blocks support and inform them about this issue as it is coming from their end.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

Yes, I am using that block. I’ll contact them, thank you!

    Hello,

Some of our users have already been directed to report the issue to the Kadence support team so they can have it fixed.

As a result, we got a user who got the response below from the Kadence support team (sharing it just for your reference).

We’re able to replicate the issue with both the current versions of Rank Math and Kadence Blocks. We’ve reported this to our team so they can be checked and fixed with a high priority.

We do not have an estimated release date for a fix but once we receive feedback from our developers, we’ll make sure to send you an update.

The issue doesn’t happen with the Kadence Blocks version 3.1.19. For a temporary fix, you could do the following:
    1. Create a website backup.
    2. Download the previous 3.1.19 version from this page (scroll down at the bottom-most part of the page)- https://wordpress.org/plugins/kadence-blocks/advanced/
    3. Delete the current Kadence Blocks plugin on your website and install the 3.1.19 version

So a temporary solution is to revert to an old version of the plugin.

You can then wait for Kadence to release an update to fix the said issue permanently.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need my assistance with anything else.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

We want to inform you that Kadence Blocks has released an update where the issue with our content analysis is resolved. https://www.kadencewp.com/kadence-blocks/changelog/

So, please try to update Kadence blocks to the latest version and see if that resolves the issue.

Please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.

    Thank you.
