I am using rank math pro version and my themes are special custom designed. I have two questions:
1. Some of my images in media folder which don’t have alt or descriptions, how to bulk added by rankmath image seo?
2. When I upload new image in media folder, it seems won’t added image seo information such as alt automatically even I setup right for rankmath image seo, why? Please login to check and fix for me, thanks!

Hello,
Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
Please note that Rank Math adds missing ALT attributes only for images added in post or page content, it will not do so for images added by your WordPress theme or page builder to various sections like your sliders, thumbnails, icons, headers, sidebars, footers, etc. as they only apply to images added directly on your content, and added on the fly.
So, after enabling the Add missing ALT attributes option, if you try to check the ALT attributes in your Media library, you’ll not be able to see this. You can check the ALT attributes from the source code of your page or by using the Inspect tool in your browser.
However, as you mentioned you’re currently using the Rank Math PRO plugin, but the account you have used to open this ticket is the Rank Math free version.
Can you please search and forward a receipt from FastSpring.com so we can locate your account and verify it?
Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
You mean that Rankmath won’t add alt information in my theme backend but the alt information will be display in the frontend for google index, right?
Could you please kindly advise which Inspect tool can be used to check for whether rankmath already added alt information in frontend? Thanks!
Sorry, I was use Rankmath Pro version 1 year ago and didn’t paid more, now is free version.
Hello,
You mean that Rankmath won’t add alt information in my theme backend but the alt information will be display in the frontend for google index, right?
Yes, this is correct. But please note that we only add the alt information to images in your post content.
Could you please kindly advise which Inspect tool can be used to check for whether rankmath already added alt information in frontend? Thanks!
You can see the alt information by viewing the page’s source code, i.e right-click and click “view page source”.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation

Hello,
Will you add alt for the exist image? Or only add the new upload image?
Rank Math will add the ALT attributes to all the images both existing and the new ones that don’t have any ALT attributes.
Hope that helps and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.

Hello,
Can you please share the URLs/Images that do not have alt tags? OR you can share a screenshot of the report itself and we’d be happy to help take a look. You can share images with us by uploading them to an image hosting site like Imgur, and then sharing the generated URL with us here.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation. Looking forward to hearing back from you.

The logins for your website are already working fine.
However, when we tested your website through Pagespeed Insights, the images already contained ALT attributes. Please refer to the result and screenshot in the sensitive data section.
Could you please confirm if the issue still persists?
