You can check the Rest API by visiting the URL like the following:

www.yourdomain.com/wp-json/rankmath/v1/updateMeta

If you see this URL is getting blocked by your Wordfence firewall then you can follow this guideline to whitelist the Rank Math Rest APIs on there: https://rankmath.com/kb/whitelist-rank-math-in-wordfence/

The issue with your sitemap not being updated might be that the Sitemap is cached. Please follow these steps to hopefully resolve it:

1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:

2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article: https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/

The output while checking that route indicates that it is not being blocked:

{“code”:”rest_no_route”,”message”:”No route was found matching the URL and request method.”,”data”:{“status”:404}}

It would have shown a blocked page if the route was not accessible. The issue might be a theme/plugin conflict please follow this troubleshooting guide:
