The sitemap showing empty in the Google search console. Since this issue came out, instant indexing has stopped working.
I am not able to submit screenshots, otherwise, I could explain it to you better.

Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math support and we apologize for the inconvenience.
Please share the images with us so we can understand the issue better. You can share images with us by uploading them to an image hosting site like Imgur, and then sharing the generated URL with us here.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation. Looking forward to hearing back from you.
Hello,
Thank you for sharing your screenshots.
Can you please confirm if this is the website that has the issue?
https://tennis-news24.comIf so, I checked the sitemap and it seems to be loading just fine with no issues. The URLs are also listed there.
Since Google doesn’t show any errors, this might be just temporary and will require you to wait until Google lists all the sitemaps in their report.
As for the Instant Indexing, sitemaps shouldn’t cause any issues with that feature. Can you please explain your issue here in detail? Perhaps also share some screenshots of the issues you see.
Looking forward to helping you.
https://tennis-news24.com is the website that has an issue.
A week ago, the sitemap working fine, I was able to see my sitemap and sub-sitemap reports on the Google search console.
After this issue, my main sitemap stopped updating, I don’t know how but sub-sitmaps are automatically removed from Google Search Console.
About Instant Indexing: before this issue came my post was crawled quickly and It visible on Google in 15 minutes. Now this is not happening.
The articles which are already been submitted and indexed on Google show “No referring sitemaps detected” on the Google search console.
I think all problems are related to each other.
Hello,
Please note that when you submit your sitemap on GSC, it takes some time to fully crawl and process your sitemap. During this time, you may see your sub-sitemaps blank.
However, if you’ve been facing this issue for a long time then you can remove all your submitted sitemaps and resubmit your
/sitemap_index.xml
only to your Google Search Console.Once done, give Google some time to recrawl your sitemaps. You can monitor the “Last read/crawl date” column in the sitemap index as it will update the date when Google crawls your sitemap.
Regarding the “no referring sitemap detected”, it means the page has been discovered by Google, and Google knows about it.
Please note that a sitemap is only one of many ways Google discovers the URLs of your site. If Google discovers the URL through other means, it may not cross-reference your sitemap to check if the URL is there. Hence the “No referring sitemaps” message.
Hope that helps and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.
Thank you.Hi, thank you for your response.
Google has already fully crawled and processed the sitemap, Before this issue came, my sitemap and sub-sitemap reports were updated once or twice a day.
The day this issue came, my website had 73 URLs since then I published content and made many changes but the sitemap URL count stuck at 73, and subsitemaps were removed from the GSC dashboard.
The big problem is this is a news website, and I use Indexing API to index my content quickly, and it worked fine before this issue came.
After this problem, the Indexing API is not working. Before my website had at least 5k impressions and 200 visitors every day, now this is not happening.
Hello,
Looking at the screenshots you shared with regards to your sub-sitemap not showing, this looks like a temporal issue on Google’s and it should clear up fast.
However, you can try removing your sitemap and adding it back – if you haven’t already done that before. Also, you should try adding an alternate version of your sitemap instead, you can add
/?sitemap=1
, i.e. https://tennis-news24.com/?sitemap=1. This is still the same sitemap, just a different URL.Please try this and let us know if it worked for you. Thank you for your patience and cooperation
