My new post URL is not indexing in google from last 2 month.

    URL is unknown to Google, even though I submit the URL for inspection

    I have a personal blog running for about half a year now. Previously my new blog posts can be indexed by Google successfully after I submitted the URL for inspection.

    However, starting in October, after I published new posts and submitted the URL for inspection in GSC, the coverage status remains “URL is unknown to Google” for a very long time.

    But the live test shows it has no problem to be indexed.

    So my question is, why does the status remain “URL is unknown to Google”? I would imagine that even if it is not chosen to be indexed by Google, it should be “Discovered, currently not indexed” or “Crawled, currently not indexed”.

    I believe there are no on-page technical problems since my old posts can be indexed, and the live test has no problem either. Can anyone help with this?

    Can you submit the URL you are having this issue with so we can assist you properly?

    If your URL is unknown to Google, it indicates that Google has not discovered this URL before and has not been crawled yet. You can check if this particular ULR is being excluded by a noindex tag

    In this case, if there are any issues reported on your URLs that prevent them from being indexed or affect your rankings, then you should see them in the coverage section report of your GSC:

    This is not helpful. I checked all the possibilities. Even I set all the settings properly. But page isnot indexing.

    We have just checked your site and see Yoast generates your sitemap, robots.txt and the meta so we aren’t able to troubleshoot the issue properly.

    Since you are experiencing indexing issues with Yoast configuration, we would suggest trying to set up Rank Math instead.
