Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

Please let me know if you find the culprit.

I had done a diagnosis check using the plugin that you had suggested. The warnings highlighted are:
The REST API request failed due to an error.
Error: [] cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received
The loopback request to your site failed, this means features relying on them are not currently working as expected.
Error encountered: (0) cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10000 milliseconds with 0 bytes received
Another surprising thing is, SEO tab shows up when I create new page using Elementor. SEO tab is not visible when I try to edit home page, and some of the existing pages. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.
I have decided to continue experimenting with RankMath. It is too early to surrender.

Please make sure to whitelist the IP 134.90.148.98. If you are not sure, please ask your web hosting provider to do it for you.

Thank you for the response. I have whitelisted the IP; but it doesn’t seem to have resolved the issue. Any way, as RankMath is working fine on new pages, I would use it that way for the time being.
I am not sure if the theme that I am using could be the culprit. I am using Premiumpress

Thank you for responding. It looks like I have found the ways to optimize elementor pages. When I try to edit the pages from templates section of Elementor, it doesn’t work. But when the pages are edited from pages section it permits me to optimize them.
