    Rank Math free

Hi. In your guide to setup multilingual WordPress website with RankMath and TranslatePress, it shows that every page in different language is showing in the sitemaps. But not in my case. I have only the original page links in the sitemaps. There are no links for the translated pages like site.com/en, site.com/ar, etc.

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Our plugin by default adds the URLs of the main language and the rest is handled by the translation plugin, which in this case is Translatepress.

The Translatepress plugin will add the hreflang tag to the pages to indicate what other variations exist for any given page/post on the website.

This method is also acceptable by Google for multilingual websites as you can see here: https://developers.google.com/search/docs/specialty/international/managing-multi-regional-sites

However, the TranslatePress SEO pack addon integration adds the translated URLs to our sitemap automatically. It can be found at WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Addons > SEO Pack with the premium version of TranslatePress.

You can check this URL for more details: https://translatepress.com/docs/addons/seo-pack/

Hope that helps and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.

    Thank you.
