    Hi there,

I created a new landingpage with a new permalink called example.com/bus. After pressing the save button this permalink has been changed into example.com/bus/-2/. I dont know why and I dont know how to fix it.

    What I`ve already checked:
    – There is NO duplicate landingpage (I`ve checked them all and deleted the trash)
    – I´ve activated the cache.
    – I`ve checked my permalink settings in Rankmath

    Could you please help me?
    Thanks and best regards
    Yvonne

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

This case usually happens when the Redirect Attachments option is enabled on your site. You can also test it by disabling that option, and the slug will work without the -2.

In this case, you can re-upload the media with a different file name (/page-name) or at least rename the attachment URL to a different slug to avoid getting the -2 or -3 in the URL.

Let us know how this goes.

    Thank you.
