Cover image and metadata not displayed when sharing link on WhatsApp or Facebook

    Hi,

    we have a problem with link sharing on various social media.

    When we share the link on Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp and other social still these do not display the cover image and related metadata such as title and description.

    Checking on the web page for metadata verification on Facebook it seems to be working.

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math support and we apologize for the inconvenience.

    We have tested this URL on our end and we’re not able to replicate the issue, as the image and description are showing properly on our end. Here’s some screenshot:

    Looking at your page’s source code, you have set this image as your “cover image”

    Here’s what the image looks like:

    We tried sending your link via Whatsapp and as you can see it is showing the correct “cover image”

    Please clear your cache and try sending another message then let us know what image you’re seeing.

    We have tried clearing the cache, updating WhatsApp and more, but unfortunately the image still does not show up on the Meta world apps.

    I tried it on Telegram and it works.

    Do you have any other advice on this?

    Can you please share with us a screenshot of the message preview image that you’re seeing when you shared this post on WhatsApp? You can share images with us by uploading them to an image hosting site like Imgur, and then sharing the generated URL with us here.

    Of course, this is what I see, no meta information, just links, even waiting for something to appear.

    I see that as soon as I enter the link it immediately tries to load the metadata and the cover image (even though it doesn’t display them), but then they disappear right away, as if it can’t find them.

    Thank you for getting back to us.

    Have you tried testing this with another WhatsApp on a different device? This might be an issue with the WhatsApp or device you’re using, as we are able to get your metadata displayed on our end. Please try this on a friend’s phone and let’s know how it goes.
