    I did an experiment on 404. Have deleted htaccess rules and put in rank math redirection rules:

    */page/*

    and set that as 410.

    But… that kind of page begin to appear in indexed page.

    As:

    https://www.ricetteromane.it/vincenzo-serino/laugher/page/5/

    Pls explain to me more about this operation. Have I to wait for their deleting later?

    I’d like an advice to fully delete them from search console, not to no-index. They don’t exist more.

    Redirect type: 410 (Rank Math plugin)
    Destination: no destination. It goes to home page because of I disabled pagination in template.

    I set on origin url in rank math

    */page/*

    But now that pages appears on indexed page in search console (click on the link above). Hope I was clear.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your patience.

    Since they are already deleted from your site, then letting them in a 404 status should be fine. Google will understand that and eventually deindex/remove them from the search results page (if they were indexed before).

    However, please note that it may take some time for Google and search engines to deindex URLs if they are already showing on the search results pages.

    In this case, you can utilize the page removal tool in your Google Search Console account to remove them
