I checked and figured out that the Multicollab plugin is causing the issue. If you disable it, the close button is visible in the snippet editor.
Please get in touch with the support of the Multicollab plugin and inform them about the issue. They should be able to fix it on their end.

Unfortunately this doesnt seem to have solved the issue. I have deactivated the multicollab plugin but the issue remains.
Please let me know what else can be done
