how to change permalink on live website

    i want to change the product permalink to default right now permalink is set on custom base product/ i want to show title of the product on the url but while changing the url permalink it is showning me this error Rank Math Warning: Changing the permalinks on a live, indexed site may result in serious loss of traffic if done incorrectly. Consider adding a new redirection from the old URL format to the new one.

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

    Yes, Rank Math shows a warning if you’re updating your slugs. WordPress has a feature to automatically redirect the previous slug to the new one.

    However, if that fails, then you should consider enabling the Auto Post redirection in Rank Math > General Settings > Redirections > Auto Post Redirect so the previous URLs won’t get 404 as it affects your site if it’s already indexed.
