Please note that the changes made to the author/user slug in the meta box will not work because WordPress doesn’t allow changing the author slug by default.

However, you can achieve this by using a plugin that specifically addresses that:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/edit-author-slug/

You can set up a different slug so your username won’t be shown in the URL.
