  • Hello,

Thank you for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.

We’ve checked the website and it does seem that the currency is being set to COP which is short for Colombian Peso. In this case, you may want to wait for Google to recognize the changes first. I’ve also sent a screenshot of the Meta on one of your Product pages. Please check the Sensitive Data Section.

Also, please note that it is a pretty common thing with Google these days. It happens with 70% of the results.

Google has made some changes to their algorithm which automatically changes the titles, discarding the one you have set in your SEO title meta tag. This happens regardless of the SEO plugin you are using. We have covered this Google update here:

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Hello,

We can see from your site’s source code that the icon is set properly, but Google is not showing it. Google uses the Google Favicon user agent to fetch the favicon from your website and caches it on its servers. Since this user agent is a low-volume crawler, sometimes it may take a while for Google to update the favicon if you have changed it recently.

However, to speed up the process and make sure Google shows the correct favicon for your website, you can use the Google URL Inspection Tool to request a recrawl of your website. This will tell Google to re-fetch your website data and update the favicon accordingly. You can find the tool here: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/9012289#request_indexing

You can learn more about how Google shows the favicon in search results from this article: https://developers.google.com/search/docs/appearance/favicon-in-search

Hope that helps. If you have any other questions or feedback, please feel free to contact us again.

    Thanks.
