    Hello
Once I updated my WordPress website to 6.3 I am not able to edit a published post on my site. But if I deactivate the plugin I can easily edit the published post.

Can you help me with it?

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

Here is a video you can follow as well:

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

If the issue persists, please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

    Hi there

    Thank you for your reply.
I love Rank Math and I have been using it for a very long time. In fact, I was about to upgrade for more features. But unfortunately, when I updated the WordPress version to 6.3 ( Please note updated all the plugins including Rank Math) I noticed That I can not edit any published post.

I use Cloudways as a web hosting. They even said it is because of the Rank Math Plugin. I myself tasted everything you have mentioned above, so I am sure the Plugin is causing me issues.

This is what a support team at Cloudways said “It indicates that there’s an issue with a WordPress website using the Rank Math SEO plugin. The plugin is attempting to access a database table named ‘wp_rank_math_analytics_gsc’, but this table seems to be missing. As a result, certain queries related to this table are failing, causing errors. The errors are triggered when trying to access the Rank Math plugin’s analytics features in the WordPress admin interface.”

    Hello,

In this case, please head over to your WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Status & Tools > Database Tools and click the Recreate Missing Database Tables to see if that works for you: https://rankmath.com/kb/rank-math-status-and-tools/#recreate-missing-database-tools

Also, we have just released a new update of the Rank Math Free plugin where we have fixed some issues with WordPress version 6.3: https://rankmath.com/changelog/free/

If you are unable to see the update, please clear Rank Math’s transients from WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Status & Tools > Database Tools > Remove Rank Math Transients:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/rank-math-status-and-tools/#rank-math-transients

Please note that some options are only available when you enable the Advanced Mode in Rank Math. If Database Tools is not showing, please switch to the Advanced Mode: https://rankmath.com/kb/advanced-mode/

Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.
