Hello,
Thank you for contacting the support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
Please follow these steps:
If you do not see any data inside your Analytics module, this guide might help you.
A. Pre-check List
1. You should not be using any other Google Analytics plugin.
2. Update to the latest versions of Rank Math Free & PRO
3. Ensure that you are logged in to your account:
4. Disconnect and reconnect your account from inside WordPress:
B. Refresh Tokens
1. Please delete RankMath’s app from here:
https://myaccount.google.com/permissions
2. Re-create tables by clicking WP Dashboard > Rank Math > Status & Tools > Database Tools and click the
Re-create database Table
button.
3. Reconnect the account inside Rank Math by clicking here and ensure that you approve all the permission notices that show up:
WP Dashboard >> Rank Math >> General Settings >> Analytics tab, and click theReconnect
link
Allow all the permissions on the next screen.
4. Let the process complete, which might take around 30 minutes.
5. Now head over to WP Dashboard > Rank Math > Status & Tools > Database Tools and click the
Rebuild Index for Analytics
button.
6. Please check if the data shows up here:
/wp-admin/admin.php?page=rank-math-analytics#/
If that does not help, please paste the data from here:
WP Dashboard > Rank Math > Status & Tools > System Status and click theCopy System Info to Clipboard
button
We really look forward to helping you. Thank you.
I have been through this trouble shooting. Just tried it again. I have disconnected the account as shown in first step and have removed access on google. I also clicked on the recreate table.
The next step is not working and the dots are red.I have also tried deleting the plug in all together and reinstalling and am having the same issue.
the analytics tab is automatically red when i download and before i even connect
Hello,
Can you please try setting up the Analytics module using a different browser? See if that would work.
Also, please make sure that you are not connecting to Google Search Console via a domain property but rather a URL prefix and that you have verified the correct version of your website on the Google Search Console (HTTP or HTTPS, www or non-www).
If the issue persists, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/
We really look forward to helping you.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
I have tried both google chrome and safari. I think it must be a settings issue.
Hello,
It seems like you’ve forgotten to share your WordPress login page URL. Please add the login URL in the sensitive data section so that we can check this issue further for you.
Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Hello,
We’ve checked your site and found that the Search Console account you are connected, doesn’t have sufficient permissions:
In this case, please make sure that you are added as an owner of the property on Google Search Console so that the data can be imported successfully. After that, please reconnect your Google account from WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics and make sure to provide all the required permissions.
Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
could you give me instructions on how to do so? Thank you
I think I have verified for the search console but now the analytics section is still red. Can you look into the account again and see what else I am missing. Thank you.
I think I have solved the issue by downloading the plug in “optin monster”. Do I need to do anything with this plug in or just use rank math for everything? Can you check the account again to make sure everything is set up ok that would be great. Thank you.
Hello,
We can confirm that your Analytics has been connected although, Optin Monster shouldn’t be needed here. you may try disabling that plugin and see if the Analytics connection is still intact.
Looking forward to helping you with this one.
