Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.
The WordPress admin URL (/wp-admin) on your site is not working. Could you please share the login URL so we can check your homepage?
Meanwhile, please note that the Add missing ALT attributes and Add missing TITLE attributes options in Rank Math are not added to your images in the media gallery as the feature works only on the fly (applied on the front end when your page loads on the browser).
Also, images added by your WordPress theme or page builder to various sections like your sliders, thumbnails, icons, etc. will not be affected as they only apply to images added directly to your content.
If that’s the case on your homepage, then you can get in touch with your theme provider to apply the alt to those images since they already have it inside the media gallery.
Regarding the meta tags, you can change the site name and name values under Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Local SEO:
https://rankmath.com/kb/local-seo/#name
Hope that helps.
Thank you.
Thank you for your help! I think RankMath is missing a big feature, when alt tags are not generated for images added via pagebuilders, because like 90% of images are added that way. Content images would probably only apply to blog posts.
So I’d like to request a feature: RankMath should add the possibility (via button click) to generate alt tags inside the media library, so when images are added anywhere else, they have the alt tag “hard coded” to them. This would eliminate a big time consuming part and kill the need for another plugin.
Regarding the meta, I was able to change it accordingly thanks to you 🙂
Hello,
Thank you so much for your feedback. Our plugin may not be able to support other page builders at the moment but our developers are their best to add this compatibility.
With that said, your suggestion and input is very much valued. Thank you for sharing it.
