    Good morning,

I recently published my website. When I was still creating it, I used Coming Soon page to notify those who would search the website. Yet, after I published the website, when I searched it on google, it still somehow appeared Coming Soon, and not the live website. Could you help me out resolving the issue?

    Thank you in advance.

    Best,
    Franky

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Can you please share your website URL with us so that we can check the issue further for you?

However, please note that after changing the meta data, it could take time to update it on SERPs. If you’ve changed the meta data recently then please give some time to Google to recrawl and reindex your website. For more details, you can check this URL: https://rankmath.com/kb/different-meta-title-and-description/#page-not-indexed

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

    Hi there,

Thanks for your reply. We understand that you want to see the updated SEO Title and Description of your website on Google. We can help you with that.

Google does not update its index of your website instantly. It takes some time for Google to crawl your site and reflect the changes you made. This can vary depending on many factors, such as the size, popularity, and freshness of your site. Sometimes, it can take up to a few weeks for Google to show the latest version of your site.

However, you don’t have to wait that long. You can speed up the process by requesting Google to reindex your site manually. There are two ways you can do this with Rank Math:

    • You can use the Rank Math Instant Indexing feature. This feature allows you to send a request to Google directly from your WordPress dashboard. To use this feature, you need to have a Google API key and download an addon plugin. You can learn how to do that here. Once you have done that, you can go to Rank Math > Instant Indexing > Console, type in your URL and for Action select Google: Publish/update URL and click Send to API. This will tell Google to reindex all the pages on your site as soon as possible.
    • You can also use the Google URL Inspection Tool. This is a tool that Google provides in its Search Console service. It allows you to check the status of any URL on your site and request indexing for it individually. To use this tool, you need to have a verified Google Search Console account and add your site as a property. You can learn how to do that here. Once you have done that, you can go to the URL Inspection Tool page and enter your homepage URL in the search box. Then, click on Request Indexing. This will tell Google to crawl and index your homepage as soon as possible.

Either of these methods should help you update the metadata of your website on Google faster. Please note that even after requesting indexing, it may still take some time for Google to process your request and show the results.

We hope this helps you resolve the issue and improve your site’s performance on Google. If you have any other questions or concerns, please let us know. We’re always here to help.

Thank you for choosing Rank Math. Have a wonderful day!
