Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math support. We are sorry to hear that you are having trouble with Google crawling your pictures from your website.
There are several possible reasons why Google can’t crawl your pictures, such as:
- Your images are blocked by robots.txt or meta tags. You can check your robots.txt file and make sure that it does not disallow Googlebot from accessing your images. You can also check your meta tags and make sure that they do not have the noindex or nofollow attributes for your images (i.e. noimageindex).
- Your images are too large or have a low quality. Google prefers images that are optimized for web performance and user experience. You can use tools like TinyPNG or ImageOptim to compress and optimize your images without losing quality. You can also use Rank Math’s Image SEO module to add alt text, title, and caption to your images.
- Your images are hosted on a different domain or server. Google may have difficulty crawling your images if they are located on a different domain or server than your website. You can try to move your images to the same domain or server as your website.
- Your images are dynamically loaded or generated by JavaScript. Google may not be able to crawl your images if they are loaded or generated by JavaScript code that runs on the browser. You can try to use HTML or CSS to display your images instead of JavaScript or use a tool like Prerender.io to create static HTML snapshots of your pages for Google.
To help understand what the issue might be, you can share the specific page you’re referring to – and we’ll be happy to help investigate this.
We hope this helps you fix the issue with Google crawling your pictures. If you have any other questions or feedback, please feel free to contact us anytime. We are always happy to assist you.
Thank you for choosing Rank Math!
