The login for the staging site is working, however, the FTP you have provided lacks the host to log in successfully. Could you please update and check?
Meanwhile, please check your live site’s configuration if there are some PHP values that are too low and that you should increase. You can get in touch with your web host and ask them to set the following values (if not yet):
PHP Memory Limit: 512M
Max input time: 150
PHP time limit: 120
PHP max input variables: 1000
Once done, try activating the Rank Math plugin again. You can also share the error log upon activating it so we can determine the root cause of the issue.
