  • Hello,

Thank you for your question. I understand that you want to add the ‘work from home’ schema to your job posting schema on your WordPress blog.

Unfortunately, there is no specific schema type for ‘work from home’ jobs. However, you can still use the JobPosting schema to mark up your work-for-home jobs and make them eligible for rich results in Google Search.

To do this, you need to follow these steps:

    1. Remove the jobLocation property, as there is no physical location for the job.
    2. Specify the jobLocationType property as TELECOMMUTE, which indicates that the job can be performed remotely.
    3. Include any other required or recommended properties for the JobPosting schema, such as title, description, datePosted, hiringOrganization, applicantLocationRequirements, etc.

You can learn more about the JobPosting schema and its properties here: https://developers.google.com/search/docs/appearance/structured-data/job-posting#work-from-home-example and https://schema.org/JobPosting.

If you’re using Rank Math PRO, you can easily add these properties with a click of a button. Learn more about how to use Rank Math PRO to add the work-from-home JobPosting schema here: https://rankmath.com/kb/jobposting-schema/#is-telecommute-job.

I hope this helps you add the ‘work from home’ schema to your job posting schema on your WordPress blog. If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to reply to this ticket and I’ll be happy to assist you further.

    Best regards,
