Hi there,
we are trying to optimize to following site: http://stage.global-diplomacy-lab.org/blog/think-the-unthinkable-and-do-the-undoable/The keyword we have set is: strategic foresight
And while the keyword appears multiple times in the text the tool keeps on telling us that the keyword is not present in the text. What can we do to fix this? We have already checked for spelling errors etc. We even copied the keyword from the text into the keyword box – no difference.

Hello,
Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
It seems like you are currently using a custom block to write your content, hence, Rank Math wasn’t able to read your content properly and couldn’t detect the keyword from your content.
In this case, you can apply our Content Analysis API to the plugin/theme that generates this block so Rank Math can read it. You may refer to this guide: https://rankmath.com/kb/content-analysis-api/
However, please note that the tests are only for your reference and don’t affect the actual SEO performance of your site. Since your focus keyword is in your content, you can safely ignore the test if you want.
Hope that helps and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.
Thank you.Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Sorry to bother you again, but we are still having major issues. Can you please see the second video in sensitive data?
Best,
AnneHello,
Thank you for getting back to us. We’re sorry to hear that you’re having some trouble with our plugin. Let us try to help you with that.
First of all, we want to explain why our plugin is not detecting your focus keyword in some parts of your post. As we mentioned before, this is because our plugin only analyzes the content that is written in the main content area of the WordPress post editor. If you are using a different method to add content, such as a custom block or a custom field, our plugin cannot read it properly. To fix this, you need to use our Content Analysis API, which allows you to integrate any custom content with our plugin.
For example, if you are using Advanced Custom Field (ACF) to create your custom post type, you can enable the ACF module in Rank Math > Dashboard > Modules > ACF. This will allow our plugin to read the content from the ACF fields and detect your focus keyword. If you are not using ACF, but a custom-developed system, you will need to use our API to integrate it with our plugin. You can speak with your developers, or your theme developers for help with this.
Regarding the issue of your meta description not showing up in the preview. We checked the page that you mentioned and we found that the og:description tag matches the one that you entered in the video.
This means that the meta description is being applied correctly to the page, but for some reason, it is not being displayed in the preview to you. To troubleshoot this, we need you to confirm a few things:
- Does this happen only with this page or with other pages of the same custom post type?
- Does this happen with the default WordPress post/page post type as well?
- Have you tried deactivating other plugins to see if there is a conflict?
Please let us know the answers to these questions so we can help you further. We appreciate your patience and cooperation.
Thank you for choosing Rank Math!
Hi,
we have selected all the custom post types in Content AI, so that should not be the problem.Regarding your questions:
– unfortunately, we do not have other pages with the same post-type, so we cant say for sure, if this is happening only on our site or elsewhere too.
– we dont use default WordPress post-types, so again not sure if it is happening there. On normal pages it does not happen.
– yes, we tried deactivating other plugins short of Elementor and Elementor Pro but that didnt make a difference.Best,
AnneHello,

Thank you.
Hi, sorry for the radio silence – I was out for a while. I have edited the post above accordingly with access info and made sure to have a complete backup.
Thank you so much for your help.
Best,
AnneHello,
So we did a test run of the keyword on your site using the Elementor page builder and Rank Math was able to analyze the content and detect the keyword within the content:
You can attempt this again. We didn’t find the post you referenced if not we would have tested with it. and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.Thanks.
Hi, on normal pages (like the one you tested) there are no problems. Please check any of the custom post types (blog, labs, members).
Best,
AnneHello,
Those are CPTs that don’t include editor support so our plugin cannot properly detect the keyword in the content unless you add the custom fields under WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > [CPT Name].
If you add the names of the custom fields for each CPT then our plugin will be able to read the contents of them and detect the presence of the focus keyword there.
Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
