Hello,
Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
Please note that the sitemap generates on the fly in Rank Math, when you enable that module. We rely on redirects enabled by your server software to accomplish that.
We’ve checked your sitemap and we can see that your XML file is working properly but not the XSL file. The XSL file is for humans so that we can read the sitemap. As it is not working that’s why you’re seeing your sitemap blank.
In order to XSL file to work properly the /?xsl=main
should be rewritten to /main-sitemap.xsl
. But currently on your website, the /?xsl=main
is returning an error and that’s why your /main-sitemap.xsl
is redirecting to the homepage. Please check the screenshot in the sensitive section for your reference.
This issue could be caused by conflicting plugins/themes on your website. Kindly make sure you are using the latest version of all the plugins and themes, please update if not yet.
Here’s a guide for troubleshooting further if the issue persists:

You can also follow the steps in this video:

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.
Let us know how that goes. Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
Hi,
thank you for your quick reply.
I tried the troubleshooting plugin, all plugins deactivated with twenty twenty theme, flushing the current sitemap, flushing the permalinks and still empty site.
Kind regards,
D
Hello,
This issue is occurring because, on your database entries there are some Unicode characters
that are preventing the sitemap from correctly loading. Please refer to the screenshot error in the sensitive data section where the registered trademark character ®
is not correctly parsed.
In this case, please access your WordPress database and check the table wp_options.
Please fix that entry or any other similar type of entry by removing Unicode characters. You can also just replace the entry and your sitemap should load fine.
Let us know how this goes.
Thank you.
Hi Reinelle,
Great news! I deleted the “®” in the “wp_options” file, and the problem is now fixed.
Thank you so much for your help!
Have an awesome day!
Best regards,
D
