Site Favicon Not Changing

    Hello,

    My website is https://allthingsmin.com

    I’ve recently rebranded and changed my logo, I tried changing my favicon by changing my site identity/icon via customization. I’ve also changed my user logo and gravatar, not sure if that’s at all related though.

    However, I see that when I log into my website, I still see the old favicon. It’s been 2 days since I’ve made the change now.

    I thought maybe it took some time to see the changes, but now I’m not sure.

    Is there a way to get around this, or do I just need to wait?

    Thanks for contacting us, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    If you’re facing the issue setting up the favicon for your site, you should get in touch with your theme provider instead, since this is related to your theme and we don’t handle such feature.

    We can suggest you to try clearing your site, plugin or any server-level cache to see if that helps.

    After tinkering with some settings, it updated. Now, when I open my tabs, it appears with the new logo on top of my browser.

    However, when I google my page, it just comes up as though I didn’t have a favicon at all; why is that? does it take some time to update? or is there something I need to do to make it happen?

    P.S. I’ve reached out to my theme team, just awaiting a response. I’d appreciate any advice.

    Please follow the guideline by Google shared below to make your favicon appear on SERPS:

    Note that, the Google Favicon crawler occasionally crawls your site and this can take a while to update your favicon on SERPS:
