Webmail, mail and cpanel indexing by Google

    Hi there,

We have issue where lately Google has been indexing webmail, mail and cpanel, as well as subdomain links under main domain search console – under different errors, such as page with redirect/blocked by robots.txt etc.

I know it is possible to add nofollow/noindex to other pages using RankMath. So, my questions is, would it be also possible to implement nofollow/noindex to the following pages mentioned above and shown on screenshots using RankMath plugin?

    Kind regards,
    Raido

  • Hello,

Thank you for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.

It’s not possible to implement the noindex tag to pages outside the scope of WordPress using our plugin. The plugin works on top of WordPress so any pages outside the installation are not accessible from the plugin.

In any case, those pages seem to be already blocked by a robots.txt file, it’s just that Google was able to find them because they were likely referenced somewhere.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.

    Hi,

    Thanks for a quick reply.

Yes, they were referenced by this search engine -> fofa.info.

Do you know how can we get these links to no follow/no index?

    Kind regards,
    Raido Linde

    Hello,

Unfortunately, those URLs cannot be set to noindex in Rank Math. You can check this one with your web host provider if they can set those links to noindex.

If they are referenced on the website you have provided, then you may have to remove them from that site so Google will clear the Blocked by robots.txt report.

However, they will not affect your website as they are intentionally set to disallow in your robots.txt and should not be indexed.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

Is there a way for a hosting company to set them as noindex/nofollow?

I can not remove them because they are indexed by some random search engine fofa.info.

    Kind regards,
    Raido

    Hello,

Thank you for getting back to us.

Is there a way for a hosting company to set them as noindex/nofollow?

We don’t know for sure. Different host offer varying sets of tools to their customers and you’ll have to reach out to them and explain what you’re trying to achieve. Hopefully, they can help.

Thank you for choosing Rank Math!
