Blocked by CORS policy: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' - Support

Good morning,
Not sure if this is related to your plugin or something else but when we connected our new website to google analytics with Rank Math, we are getting the following errors.

Access to fetch at ‘https://www.google-analytics.com/api?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.wheelgatepark.com%2F’ from origin ‘https://www.wheelgatepark.com’ has been blocked by CORS policy: No ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ header is present on the requested resource. If an opaque response serves your needs, set the request’s mode to ‘no-cors’ to fetch the resource with CORS disabled.
GET https://www.google-analytics.com/api?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.wheelgatepark.com%2F net::ERR_FAILED 404

Which, in turn, causes issues with the Google captcha not working and possibly other things.
I saw another article within this knowledgebase saying about the Rest API is disabled but as far as I am aware it is enabled as I can access this https://www.wheelgatepark.com/wp-json.

Any thoughts on how I can sort this issue, please?

This cross-origin request mostly occurs due to a server-side misconfiguration.

First of all, if you have enabled some ad blockers or security plugins on the web browser, try to disable them.

If you still face issues, then you need to get in touch with your hosting provider and ask them about the issue so that they’ll fix that for you.

Thanks for the reply – we did contact our server company and they told us it was to do with google and to contact them – I shall try them again, thanks again – they were obviously fobbing me off.

We have tried incognito so no adblockers or browser-based blockers are used but still the same issue, i will try the server company again.

This issue is not related to Google or Rank Math, but to your server configuration. You need to ask your server company to add the ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ header to the requested resource, or to allow cross-origin requests from your domain.

You can also try to clear your site’s cache and browser’s cache and see if that helps. Sometimes, caching plugins or services can interfere with the CORS policy and cause errors.
