No analytics data imported

    Rank Math free

    Hi,

I have an issue with my rankmath plugin. It doesn’t import any analytics data. I have checked everything that is explained on this page, but nothing seems to fix it. https://rankmath.com/kb/analytics-issues/

The only reason that might cause this issue is that the ‘Analytics Database’ field is empty in the settings of my plugin. I tried to fill in 90 into this field, but the field doesn’t save. Fetching new data from that location doesn’t import anything either.

When I look at the wordpress cron that imports the data it show completed so the issue is not on that side.

I use the latest update of the free plan and my wordpress / all other plugins are updated to the latest version as well.

Hopefully you can help me fix this!

Please let me know how to fix it since I have this issue on one more website.

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math support and we apologize for the inconvenience.

We checked your website and we can see that the Rank Math Analytics feature is working correctly. Your Google Search Console and Analytics properties have been connected properly (https://i.rankmath.com/i/PCefrS). Your database has 4MB of data (https://i.rankmath.com/i/LVgfwv) and Rank Math > Analytics is showing your data properly. (https://i.rankmath.com/i/gJCk9J)

Can you please confirm if you’re able to see this on your end? Or please let us know if we misunderstood your question.

Thank you for choosing Rank Math!

    Hi,

Thank you I do see some data now. Although the data is not correct. According to Search console we got for example 43 clicks in the last 28 days, Rankmath only shows 8 in the last 30 days. The search impressions are also lower. Any idea what causes this?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi there,

Thank you for getting back to us.

We understand that you might have noticed some discrepancies between the data that Rank Math shows and the data that Google Search Console shows. This is normal and expected, as Rank Math and Google use different methods to calculate some key metrics, such as impressions, clicks, and keywords.

We have written a detailed article that explains why this happens and how you can interpret the data correctly. You can find it here: https://rankmath.com/kb/anaytics-data-differs-from-ga-gsc/

We hope that this will clear up any confusion and help you make the most of Rank Math’s features. If you have any other questions or feedback, please let us know. We are always happy to hear from you.

Thank you for choosing Rank Math as your SEO plugin. Have a wonderful day!
