Description settings for Titles & Meta > Posts/Pages

    Hi,

    In Titles & Meta > Posts/Pages > Description
    my default settings are %seo_description%. Should I leave as it or change to %excerpt%?

    My setting for Single Post/Page Description is %excerpt%.

    Could you please let me know what happens with each option?

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention.

    In Single Post Description, it uses the %excerpt% variable to fetch the excerpt of your posts or the first 160 characters from its content.

    While the %seo_description% variable ensures that your schema will inherit the description meta tag you have set for your site.
