Rank Math causes a critical error

    Hello,

    we recently got daily mails from the website http://kfz-schaden-gutachter.de because the plugin causes a critical error.

    Error message: syntax error, unexpected ‘)’

    The website is running as it should but the error-mails won’t stop.
    We already tried the rollback option but it didn’t work.

    It also shows the PHP-Version 7.2 but the website is running on 7.4.

    Let me know if you need further informations.

    We recommend updating to at least PHP version 8.0 because anything below that has reached its end of life: https://www.php.net/supported-versions.php

    I strongly recommend upgrading to at least PHP 8.0 not only for the issue that you are facing with Rank Math but also for several reasons that would significantly benefit you and your site.

    If you are not familiar with upgrading the PHP version of your site, you can ask for assistance from your hosting company as they will be able to update that which will sort out the issue.
