    Hello,

Thank you for getting back to us.

This issue can occur if your sitemap is located in a different URL version than what is verified on Google Search Console.

We have checked your sitemap and we have noticed that it is located in the non-WWW version of your site, i.e. https://yourdomain.com/sitemap. However, if your Google Search Console account is verified with the WWW version of your site, i.e. https://www.yourdomain.com – Google may not be able to access or index your sitemap.

Can you please confirm that the URL that is verified on Google Search Console is also the non-WWW version of your site and does not contain WWW? You also share a screenshot of your Google Search Console page that shows your full URL, like this, so we can check for you.

If you find out that you have verified the WWW version of your site on Google Search Console, then you can try to fix this issue by redirecting the WWW version of your site to the non-WWW version. You can learn how to redirect the WWW version of your site to the non-WWW version by following this guide: https://rankmath.com/kb/how-to-redirect-www-urls-to-non-www/

I hope this clarifies the issue for you. If you have any other questions or concerns, please let me know. I’m always happy to help.

Thank you for choosing Rank Math.

    Hello,

Thank you for getting back to us.

We have checked your sitemap several times and we can confirm that it is working fine on our end. There is no issue with the sitemap itself or the Rank Math plugin settings.

However, for some reason, Google is not able to access or fetch your sitemap. This could be due to a temporary glitch or a caching issue on Google’s side.

To resolve this, we suggest that you try the following steps:

    • Go to the Google Search Console sitemaps page
    • Remove and delete your current sitemap
    • Add a new sitemap, using this version instead https://yourdomain.com/?sitemap=1
    • Wait for Google to crawl your site again and see if the error is gone.

This might help Google refresh its cache and recognize your sitemap correctly.

Please try this and let us know if it works for you. If not, we’ll investigate further and find another solution for you.

Thank you for choosing Rank Math.
