  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention.

The page you shared is redirecting to the non-trailing slash version. I’ve also checked your other URLs, and their version is without a trailing slash at the end as well.

If you want a slash at the end, then you may need to update your permalinks to /%postname%/ with the trailing slash. Rank Math outputs the self-referencing canonical URL depending on the permalinks you have set.

With that said, please note that we do not recommend changing the URL structure of a live website as it can affect the rankings of the website if done incorrectly.

Here’s a link for more information:

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

    Thanks for your reply.
We changed the permalink structure a couple of hours ago to not include the trailing slashes, so it now matches Rankmath’s self-referring canonicals.
Before the change, it didn’t match. I am not sure if it’s an issue on other websites but it caused Google to de-index some pages as it was seeing the canonical without the trailing slash as a different page.
    Now fixed. Thanks
