There are a few possible reasons why your Rank Math settings are not getting saved. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
1. Make sure that you have the latest version of Rank Math installed on your site. You can check this by going to Rank Math > Status & Tools > Version Control in your WordPress dashboard. If there is an update available, please update the plugin and see if the issue persists.
2. Check if your site’s firewall or security plugin is blocking the REST route used by Rank Math. You can do this by visiting this URL in a private browser or incognito tab (replace example.com with your domain name):
https://example.com/wp-json/rankmath/v1/updateMeta
If you see a response like {“code”:”rest_no_route”,”message”:”No route was found matching the URL and request method”,”data”:{“status”:404}}, then your REST route is not blocked. But if you see a notice that your access has been denied by a firewall, then you need to whitelist Rank Math and its files in your firewall settings.
