This error is usually caused by a corrupted or incomplete ZIP file that is downloaded from our server or by trying to update the Pro plugin while connected to a free account – and it does look like you’re using Rank Math PRO, while the account you’re posting this ticket with is a FREE account.
Can you please search and share with us the payment receipt you received after purchasing Rank Math PRO? The receipt is usually from FastSpring.com, our payment processor.
Can you please follow these steps to fix the issue:
– Visit the Rank Math account page that has the Pro plan and double-check that it is the same account that is connected to your website. If it is not, you will need to disconnect and connect to the right account. I can also attempt to merge the two accounts if that’s okay – let me know.
– Download Rank Math Pro from your account and upload it manually to your WordPress site. You can find detailed instructions on how to do this here: https://rankmath.com/kb/update-rank-math-manually/
